The charter members' vision was one of "world-class service", and it continues to be embraced by all who have become members of Xi Zeta Zeta Chapter. The women of Xi Zeta Zeta Chapter continue to serve our communities through cooperative partnerships to ensure that the services we provide and the information we distribute is in keeping with the needs of our communities.
Our mission is one of simplicity and humility:
"Xi Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. will serve under the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in our everyday lives; assist and serve as mentors and role models to our sponsored undergraduate chapter and our auxiliary groups; provide and participate in programs that improve the lives of women, men, children and older adults within our communities; actively seek-out and participate in community events that serve the Silicon Valley and South Bay Area; and raise monies to provide academic scholarships to high school seniors."
While membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is a lifelong commitment, achieving Life Membership is a distinguished honor recognizing a Soror’s extraordinary dedication and service to our beloved Sisterhood.
Life Membership not only requires 5 years of dedicated, active membership, but it is also a position that must be qualified by the recommendation of one’s peers and a host of other requirements as outlined in our sorority’s national constitution and by-laws.
The Xi Zeta Zeta Chapter is proud to be home to several esteemed Life Members. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and deepest gratitude to Connie Carr-Jones, Ardette Fulton, and Dr. Jameela Fulton. We celebrate your unwavering commitment to Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood, and thank you for your continued legacy of excellence.
