Undergraduate Chapter

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is proud to support undergraduate leadership, service, and academic excellence through our collegiate chapters. The Xi Zeta Zeta Chapter, based in San José, CA, is honored to proudly sponsor the Psi Mu Chapter located on the campus of San José State University. 

The Psi Mu Chapter, chartered initially on April 24, 1984 by charter members Jennifer Jones, Jessica Jones, Karen Crawford, Cynthia Cobb, and Arnita Sass, was proudly rechartered on September 15, 2011. 

As we work toward reactivating the chapter, Xi Zeta Zeta Chapter—Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated remains committed to restoring Psi Mu’s presence on the San José State University campus, grounded in the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.

The legacy of the Psi Mu Chapter is one of distinction, leadership, and impact, and we look forward to continuing that tradition through new membership and campus engagement opportunities.

Educational Standards – Undergraduates

To be considered for membership as an undergraduate, you must:

• Be enrolled as a full-time student at San José State University

• Have completed at least 12 credit hours at San José State University

• Hold a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or the higher campus requirement)

• Maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher after membership intake
